Default high oil pressure! HELP!

i know i know another one of these threads. i read most of them. but still confused. when i start my car the gauge flys by a 100 psi all the way back to the needle. it a mechnical gauge and yes i bought a brand new one and it did the same thing. i tried changing the oil and filter...same thing. it has a endyn racing oil pump with only a couple thousand miles on it and its ls vtec turbo. i dont see how it could be the relief valve the pump is almost new. when the car warms up it goes to about 60 psi at idle but if i rev it to about 3k it will jump well over a 100 psi. if the oil pressure really was that high wouldnt i be blowing oil out everywhere??? i see no oil at all. the motor sounds like it runs just fine. the car drove fine since the turbo kit was put on about 2 weeks ago...perfect oil pressure. it doesnt make any sense to me. someone please help me i have been trying to figure this out for the last couple days cant seem to figure it out.

Its a mechanical gauge. Give it a few days. if not there is a big air bubble in there. U can pull the line off the gauge and put it in a beer bottle and just crank the car over real quick and re attach it.

My friend's Eclipse shot up to about 90psi at cold idle. After that a while it dropped down to about 60.

What does it do while driving?

Isn't ~90-100 psi normal right on WOT?

I don't know about >100 psi though
