So i am thinking of changing out my plugs, wires, now I dont know whether to change my distributor cap and rotor?? or the whole distributor assembly??

WHat you guys think...and Im also thinking of changing out my fuel filter.

Did you atleast test your battery???

 

What happens when you try to start it? Are you getting fuel? Spark? Compression? Is it even turning over?

 

yes it was cranking but nothing..but now it wont even crank..so I think the battery is dead.

But when this first happen dI was driving and it stalled. Then I tried turning on and it would crank but wouldnt start..So what u guys think?

 

check coil in the dizzy., fuel pressure, frul filter, easy check for spark. take a plug out and put it in the plug wire and ground the threads of the plug and turn the engine over if there is a spark at the plug then that just means ur getting spark GOOD LUCK

 

when it first happened did it just stall out? did it studder a bit then just kinda die in a weezing type gasp? any sputter? when you get it to turn over will it crank and run if you pump the gas the whole time?

 

 

sounds like your alternator went out and ended up killing your battery. Recharge battery and buy new alternator, or brushes (inside the alternator) if thats whats wrong.
