Does the b16 engine have a dual stage vtec similar to that found in the gs-r engine?

B16 doesn't have dual stage VTEC
GSR doesn't have dual stage VTEC

I never even herad of dual stage VTEC.

I think by what you mean by "dual stage VTEC" is the IABs which engage much like VTEC, but aren't like VTEC in the least. Whoever told you VTEC engaging and iABs engaging was dual stage VTEC is a moron.

The GSR has IABs - the B16 doesn't. They both have VTEC.

correct. the iab's are not part of the vtec system, but work together with vtec.
