Default F22b vtec questions....

alrighty....been looking around couple of sites for some stuff i wanna throw into my swap....and have really found just about everything I have been looking for....but what chipped ecu to run with and also a mild street cam for the swap....any input guys....here goes the info....92 accord dx....goin from f22a1-f22b1....motor install is a sinch and wiring no problem....minor boost will soon follow....my only issues were stated above....am i looking to use a chipped out p28 possiby with a mild street map....or stock vtec ecu????

this isnt gonna be a ravenous beast but something i will like daily....

also looking for a performance intake manifold....

this cam issue is driving me mad....found a decent performance intake plenum from dh-racing.com ported and polished up $550 Shipped....

um okay dood...first off if your going to boost a motor the f22a1 would be your better bet. 2nd you could get yor cam regrinded...actually you dont need it the stock cam is fine...as for tuning you can not run a boosted car on a stock ECU without serious issues......sounds like you need to do some more reading on what yoooo really need to start spending your money on.....buy a good mainfold, turbo, blah blah blah youll be fine........

oh your car is a 5 speed right?

thus meaning for a short while there wont be any boost....so in turn the stocker will do for a little while....I will try not to be so vague next time....but thanks for SOME relevant input....

This is the information that helps....learning from our mistakes....I appreciate this and well have already found and shipped the head....2nd day air ....also I am intrested in the "tweaked head"....but not having the caps bothers me....with new caps it would probably need an alignment bore....but in the mean time I think some contact information is in order....
