Default ELD Sensor CEL code, easy fix?

I'm new here, and fairly new to the whole tuning scene, so you'll have to bear with me. I have a 96 EK hatch with a b16a2 swap, and a p30 ecu (unchipped so far). Everything works great so far, except that my car keeps throwing the ELD sensor code (20). I intend to eventually chip my ecu but I can't afford it right now, so I'm hoping for a potentially simple fix for this. I'm told the code is likely there because of the obd1 computer not compensating for the extra draw in power from the o2 sensor heaters, but is there a way to throw a relay or resistor or something where the eld should be? Feel free to tell me all that I'm wrong about so far

Also, odd side note; my haynes manual says that the ELD sensor is a strictly usdm component, but isn't the p30 a jdm computer? And if so, how would it trip that light, or is there a whole new set of cel codes? I really don't know... thanks in advance though.

This problem comes up every now and then on this forum. It may be due to a short or damage wires. Here is a TSB that may be related to the ELD trouble code:

This may be helpful as well, as a lot of sensors using the BLK/YEL wire can potentially cause this problem, along with an erractic speedo, blown fuse, and other DTC's.

Mine was caused by my second O2 harness (which I don't use anymore) shorting to ground. Many other sensors could cause this as well.
