Default 1st n 2nd get stuck, HELP!

ok so while i was driving today i realized that after i come to a complete stop that i have to be stop with the break in let completely off the clutch then get on it again to even get into first gear and then when i slow down to make a turn and try and shift into 2nd my tranny wont let me it will just stop like somethings in the way whats my problem and how do i fix it? thanks in advanced

all my other gears work fine its just 1st and 2nd could it be my shifter or my clutch itself?

Make sure your clutch's master/slave cylindar is functioning correctly, as in if it has a sufficient amount of presssure to depress the clutch correctly. If a system is low, you will have a hard time getting in and out of gears. That may be the case for your situation. You had said it was only first and second, so it may be shift fork related. Since its a D-series you have to ask yourself which is easier, to just replace the whole thing, or get it rebuilt. Depends on how much money and time you have.

****! lol i think its my fluid and stuff but ill need to check that when it stops raining and whitch would be cheaper cheaper to do a replace and install or a rebuild?

Technically it would be cheaper to repair it yourself, if you knew how. But for the avg tuner its easiest to find another tranny.

notice most of those forks have "L3" on them which is 88-91 trannys.......sorry
