The spoolup wont be that much better form the non-bb to bb, its the transition and between gears that's different. Typically a BB turbo will fall out of boost less between shifts than a non-BB. I have that same turbo and made 670whp @ 30lbs on a 83mm gsr motor.

Very common question and very different fro everyone really. Spool comes from many thingsm is the turbo have an oil restrictor to limit oil pressure, less oil pressure(to a certyain extent) will help the turbo spool quicker, downpipe and exhaust size affects spool as well, your motor size, head work etc etc.

Now on my old 84mm B16A full boost was at 6700rpm BUT also ran up to 10,700rpm had a 3" dp only and a great ported head . BB turbo would spool about 2-300 rpm sooner and quicker with a 4" dp and also things in the tune can affect that as well

I am sure Anthony will come in here soon and let us know how his turbo spooled, he has a new manifold now also SO he should have new results too. I can't remember what turbo he is gonna run though
