You're good for 200-250 whp on a good tune if you have compression that checks out.
Get a leakdown test too, both will help show you what condition your motor is in.

i have a stock b16a (jdm high compression) with a .60 trim gt30r on 8psi, its held up for a little over a month now with 270 whp and i dog it everywhere, but that is a b series, i think your good for 250, if anything put a better headgasket

B-series are certainly good for 300-330 whp on stock internals. There are several with 500whp with just minor valvetrain mods.
D-series this will be harder to accomplish.

i have a d16y7 stock on 8psi, had it tuned and the fisrt time i pushed it i blew a gasket, then i got that fixed and had it dyno tuned im making alittle under 248 whp and i have pushed it every tuesday at the track and its lasted me for about a month and a half, its still ackting stong as hell. so in any case u should probaly get it dyno tuned....
