Is it possible to use a OBD2 ECU on a crx?

Not unless your CRX is converted to OBD2, no.

yes you can, but you would not want to run obd2.

i just wanna know because im getting the whole ecu harness and ecu and engine harness with the D16y8 motor and instead of buying a new ecu and jumper harnesses is there a way i can use the obd2 ecu for temporary until i get enough money for the obd2 to obd1 harness and the ecu

no....a whole lot of rewiring which you probably cant do sense you havent noticed the search button...but you ahve a crx so your gonna want a obd0-obd2 if you want that route but the route anyone well tell you to go with is obd0-obd1....or just stay obd0 and get rig up a msd vtec switch for that head...
