I'm looking at getting an Alpine Type S 12" for my Integra. I can get the SVC version (200W RMS) for $86. What is a good amp for this sub? I'm looking hopefully at a class D amp, like the JL 250/1. Will the 250W of the JL blow out the Alpine, or is it just a matter of turning down the gain? Do I really need a digital amp? Is the JBL 600.1 (300W RMS) a good alternative? Thanks for the help...

the JBL 600.1 should be fine with the gain set very low as this amp will deliever almost 400 watts RMS
