Oil restrictor on Turbonetics turbo

Default Oil restrictor on Turbonetics turbo

i have the old drag turbonetics turbo and it leaking oil... i got the ATP oil restrictor but the oil inlet on the turbo is to "deep" and the restrictor isnt long enough . Does anyone kno another oil restrictor i can get? thanks

NPT-AN fitting, solder, flux, torch. Heat the fitting after applying flux inside it, get it to >500F, then fill it half way with solder. Drill a 1/16" hole in it, and you're done. Disclaimer - if you burn yourself, you're a retard.

Since oil never reaches temps to melt solder, it will always be fine - assuming its not the fitting in the turbo. I usually put it on the far side of the oil line (inlet to oil line, far from turbo), so it never gets any heat from the turbo.

you really shouldnt have to use a restrictor according to turbonetics website. they come with some filter screen fitting now, i dont know if its a restrictor or not though.
