i put a new head gasket on and i turn the key on and i get the vtec spool code so i hook a wire to the solenoid and hit it on the 12volt yah it clicks so i run a new wire to the ecu... still nothing.. so its not the solenoid its not the wire.. maybe ecu??

i have vtec oil pressure sensor disabled in the prefrences.. anyone got a idea or had this prob

Have you checked the wire from the ecu to the solenoid? Could have an open wire or a short.

 

i ran a new wire just temp like through the window into the engine bay and hooked it up directly .. still nothing..


where do you disable vtec spool in s300 software?

i disabled vtec all the way and its fine so i dont think its the ecu..
im gonna chage the solenoid out and clean the screen and stuff with a spare i have hopefully it does the trick .. it click but i dont have a multi meter so it might be bad..

 

if the solenpid doesent work im gonna re pin d4 on the ecu maybe its not getting a good connection
