still no tec
just got obd2 ta obd1 conversion harness, and a gsr computer plugged it in and still no vtec only thing i got is a oil leak by the oil filter could this be the problem cause iam not building enough oil pressure. also does any one have a wire digram for a 94and up gsr
i tried wiring the vtec solenid from the engine into the the #4 wire that goes to the vtec soliend on the ecu and the car ran like **** what could be the problem iam i missing something
what i did was i ran a wire from the vtec solenid (on the engine) to the the ecu's vtec soliend (in the car) i just tired the two wire's in on the ecu. know iam thinking do i need ta wire it up to the ecu ta make it work?
the vtec solenoid should have only one wire though...you have to use pins if there is an empty slot...or if you have a jumper harness you can spice into the wires on the harness since it already has pins in all the appropriate slots

chipped ecu takes care of that sensor....so depending on his ecu that wouldnt be an issue

yeah it would have to be litterally squirting out oil not alot but it would have to be a constant drain for vtec to not work.
is the dowel pin in center cam cap in place along with the lil blue o-ring???
other than that u a have to be looking at the pin-outs in correctly, remember some are copied backwards, and obd0 pins are 135

and obd1 and 2 are 123456
14 15 16 etc....
