vtec solenoid has only 1 wire, goes to A4 on OBDI cars
on the same housing you will find vtec oil pressure switch witch has ground and the other wire going to D6 on the ecu side.
JDM OBDII motors have only the vtec solenoid. in order to run OBDI ecu you need to runa wire from D6 and splice to A4 wire which goes to the solenoid to bypass the CEL.
