ls motor swap help!!

Default ls motor swap help!!

Ok i got a 93 si hatchy and putting a ls motor into it..
1.what wiring harnes will i need to use the stock 1 or the ls harness?
2. i must use the ls ecu right?
any other problems that i will run into ?

Hey, I just finished the same swap. I decided to use the LS harness but either one will work. You may want to keep your si harness if you decide to go vtec later on. In order not to get any engine codes I would most definately recommmend using the LS ecu. It is a pretty straight forward swap other than that. I used the integra mounts all around and the torque mounts that were on the b20 before this motor. Good luck on the swap.

remember to get the ls throttle cable or your gonna have to fab some braket.

im selling my car but wutever car i get im gonna do an LS swap in it. (planning on getting a civic or del sol.) how hard is it. its quick power, cheap, and easy to boost. my main thing is how hard it will be. wut all do i need.

i know i need the motor,intake and exhaust manifold,fuel injectors,fuel rail,tranny, wiring harness, distributor, ECU,mounts. any thing else im missing. let me know. and can i still get ac with this swap. thnx

Keep you stock airbox and use the intake runner from the LS to run from airbox to throttle body. It's an easy swap. You can still get ac with this swap.

thats 4 a gsr swap. i need 1 for a LS swap. i heard swapping a vtec motor means extra ****.
