well i am now crossing over to the dark side of boost and would like to hook up my knock sensor just for safety perposes. i have a brand new oem knock sensor for my b16 but my question is, how and where do i wire the knock to. is it 1 or 2 wire? does anyone know which pin to wire the knock to the ecu for and what color are the wires?

 

what ECU are you running?

i cant remember how much the pinouts differ, if they do, between each other.

regardless, its a red/blue wire. and if i remember correctly, pin 6 of plug C.

can anyone verify?

i have a 92 cx hatch with a b16 sir2 with a chipped p28 and a vafc-2

 

ok i was a little off.... i did some research to double check myself.

your knock sensor is wired to pin D3.

i was on the right harness plug, just the wrong pin.


and just in case.... this is the pin the KS goes to on the D ecu plug....
D1 D3 D5 etc..
D2 D4 D6 etc..

 

yeah. but there is two prongs on the knock sensor. wut goes where?
