Default CRX W/GSR swap: won't fire right

Currently if i start it up and i have someone turn the distributor a bit for timing i can get a few pops out of the motor, then it stops. For some reason i cant get it to start up and keep going. Once i got it to go through all 4 cylinders and almost roll but it didnt continue. Im running a OBD1 ECU w/conversion harness, p28 ECU w/conversion harness, and a complete GSR freshly rebuilt motor. Im getting plenty of fuel, just no consitent spark. I checked timing multiple times on everything and everything seems to be right. The only code im throwing is 6 which is for the coolant sensor, and i'm aware i need to re-wire that. No matter what it shouldnt cause it not to turn over and run. I'm running new plugs (ngk), new wires (8mm hi performance), and freshly cleaned injectors. It also has a brand new distributor. I checked and triple checked all the vacuum lines, and the only one that may be off is the vacuum controlled air intake "baffle" that controls the intake to each cylinder. It says to run a piece in between that only lets the air flow one way, and i ran it the only logical way, so the air is allowed to suck in from the line on the intake manifold to the "baffle" in order for it to move the arm and allow airflow. Does this sound correct? In either case, could it even cause the car not to get a continued rolling start? Anyone have ideas?

Are your plug wires on backwards?
