ok i have done this a million times and also like 2 hours ago. im trying to jump the connectors to see what engine code i have. earlier i had a code 10 and 14. BUT now its not working for me. i try to jump the wires and turn the key half way but the engine light just stays on and that srs light keeps flashing. 2 hours ago i just jumped the connector and the engine light didnt come on when it primed and then 5 seconds later the engine light started its routine.

i then unplugged the map thinking i didnt have a code anymore and surely it would pick up the map being unplugged but the engine light just stayed on. this is making me so mad...its th stupiest thing ever. if anyone know please let me know, thanks

 

i just got so mad that i just cut the jumper wire plug off and attached the two ends and twisted them together...same thing...i get a solid cel when priming and then it stays solid. people are saying that the ecu is fried then, BUT, i unplugged the map to try and get the damn light to flash but its not flashing...any ideas? the ecu is good becaue i just drove it out front to park it for the night. thanks
