Default very poorly swapped b16a2 eg

just bought a very poorly swapped 93 eg with a b16a2 out of a 00si....problem is they used the si ecu and there are cut wires everywhere....the harness is completely useless....read through all the FAQs i could find and i did find the answer, but i found conflicting answers so i want some more advice....i know im going to run a chipped p28 and tune with crome, but a 96-01 gsr harness will be pretty much plug and play right? with a few minor changes, but it should work right?

I could be completly wrong but why are you using a obd 2 harnes with a obd 1 ecu. Maybe that is the proper way to convert back to obd 1 i don't now. Just woundering if im wrong let me know.

no buy a 1992-1995 civic ex/si wiring harness. The only thing you have to change are the injector clips ( from obd1 to obd2 Unless you have obd1 injectors) and the alternator plug( from obd1 to obd2 unless you have an obd1 Alternator ) And lastly extend the o2 sensor plug. Its really simple. Took me no more than 1 hour.

the reason i ask is because on one of the FAQ it said using a 96-01 GSR harness with a chipped p28 ecu will be ALMOST a straight plug and play even though the gsr harness is obdII.....i have only found this info in one post, so i wasnt sure if the guy was confused or if its really possible

ok but if you want to keep life a little easier go with a 1992-1995 ex/si harness

I agree if the car is obd1 run an obd1 harness and modify what only what you need to because of the motor. what is the chassis. (dx,cx,si, etc.)
