Default Running too rich

i have an h22 in my 92 hatch...
a while ago my car was running really lean so i took it to the shop and the mechanic said it was the fuel injector resistor(the box that sits over headlight relay, 6 yellow and black wires going to it) so he took it out saying that this wasnt allowing the injectors to open up enough, after that the car was running alot stronger... at that time i was running a computer that the same mechanic gave me that was suposed to be for an h22(P06 with mods, i dont know wat exactly), i met a tuner and i brought my computer to him, he said that this program was a base map for a gsr(stupid mechanic), so i got a stock h22 program burned and now it is running way too rich, brand new ngk's same day dont work anymore (thick build up of carbon)...... is all this due to the fact that the mechanic took out the injector resistor box and the injectors are opening up too much now?????
i also put a custom intake manifold on.... but i dont think this would make it run richer....... help would be appreciated thanks

sorry missed your last part... this is the funny part, since i have a custom manifold the idle air control motor has no spot to hook up, so there is a set screw on the tb that i messed with to hold the tb open very minor, it idles at 1000 strong but misfiring does throw it off due to the fact that the plugs are fouled.... thanks

I would hook back up the injector resistor box. That's an essential part to a reliable motor and could certainly be part of your problem.

Get a fuel managment system, such as a VAFC, and edit the fuel input maybe.
