Default z6 swap

Im doing a D16Z6 swap on my 92 DX, could i swap the engine harness from an EX to a DX to run VTEC, instead of running the VTEC wire straight to the ECU...? would someone tell me how i could get around manually running it.. could i just plug it in somewhere?

you dont have to wire anything.

1992 civics were wired for vtec. all of them

you are plug and play man.

just get a p28 ecu

The Dash harness was prewired, not the engine harness.

What you could do is run the z6 harness or just use your harness and wire what you need into the shock tower instead of the ecu.

94 LX needs to be rewired.

so if you were to use a p28 ecu and SI wiring harness in a 92 civic, that's all you need to do?

use the d16z6 motor (or head depending on the swap)

use the d16z6 engine harness

use p28 ecu

plug everything up

be done with it
