Default How????

Ok so I am doing my first swap very soon, it's a very basic swap. D16z6 into my 1993 dx coupe, Now everyone says I just need to run a few wires to run this motor with my dx wire harness. Heres my question- How do I get the wires into the cpu and the other plugs that they need to go into???

What year is the z6? You should only have to wire for the Vtec if they are the same OBD. What ecu do you have?

very simple run a wire from the vtrec solenoid to pin a4 on the ecu
then run the two wire vtec oil pressure black to ground and wire to pin out d6 on the ecu. presto you have vtec

thats what i did.
1. get the plugs (vtec) and (oil pressure)
2. run the wires into the chassis
3. plug/ splice vtec (1 wire) into slot a4 on the ecu
4. ground the black wire on the oil pressure
5. plug /splice oil pressure into slot d6 on ecu
done

to put the plugs into the harness for the ecu, go to a junkyard and cut the harness off of any same year civic....hit the harness with a hammer and take all the wire plugs from it....your harness in your car has a flap over the wires that you can lift with a screw-driver, push the pin into the proper slot and re-close the flap, it will click into place. splice the wire you ran through the firewall onto the wire comin from the harness....voila
