ROB BERING HELP
OK SO I THINK I HAVE SPUN A ROD BEARING IN MY Y8 MY QUESTION IS CAN YOU CHANGE THEN WITH OUT PULLING THE ENGINE. I HAVE A LIFT SO GETTING IT OFF THE GROUND ISN'T AN ISSUE IM JSUT WOUNDERING IF IT IS FEASABLE.

Yes they can be changed with the motor in the car. If the crank or rod has sustained any damage at all though, it will desperately shorten the life of the new bearing since you didn't send it to the machine shop to be retrued.
i got no cash or i would pluss i need the car back together by this weekend.

the engine is going to be completely ripped apart later this summer for prep for the turbo but i need to save some money first.

back to gether but taking it easy for a couple days
the #4 cylinder bearing was split in two on both the upper and lower and the #2 bearing was sun about 45 degrees.
all other bearings were suffering from severe wear.
did all bearing with the engine and crank in the car just have to take the time to make sure you don't screw anything up putting it back together cause its kinda hard to see some times (my drop light died)
