Rear brakes only squeal in reverse
I have a 00 Si, I just bought it, the rotors are new but the pads are old. Whenever I'm coasting backwards or like back out of a parking spot the rear brakes hum. Its not a normal squeal but more like a low pitched hum. Any ideas? Should I just start with new pads and adjust the rear calipers?

check your rear pads sounds like one of the wear sensors is touching the rotor. just take the wheel off and take a look your probably gonna need new pads. get the rotors cut too if there new.

Are the wear sensors on the pad or separate? Could the sensors be in backwards or the the pads be on the wrong side causing them to only do it in reverse?

Re: (SimplyTron)
nope part of the pad if it's low and touching your gonna have to change your pads. anti squeal only really works for stopping friction noise. ie: when you hit the brakes and they squeal, his problem is when rolling not braking. anti squeal only works when you don't wanna cut the rotors or when the boss isn't in the shop, you spray the crap and slap pads on and put it outside.
