Default coolant leak?

yea so i thought i had my car pretty much in good shape after all the repairs i recently did, but now it seems that after 3 or 4 days the coolant reservoir empties and i have to put more in. there is no evidence of puddles under the car ever and the temp gauge is good. what could it be?

you sure you putting in the right place? you put it in the radiator? keep your ac off and turn on the car and see if its dripping or spraying out a rubber tube

well i saw it leaking out somewhere...couldnt see exactly where. i jacked the car up back after that it stopped when it was raised in the air (car still on) so i dumped some more coolant in there for now. i dont think its coming from the radiator, but its possible, where do leaks start in the radiator?

Usually it's a hairline crack on the top cap in the front of the radiator. Mine went at 143K. Took me awhile to find exactly where it was coming from, but once I noticed it, it was pretty evident. I had coolant on the tranny though, are you noticing any or do you smell it or see white smoke coming from you hood from it cooking off?

so on the way to my friends house tonight the CEL came back on after much hardship to rid myself of it for the past 2 months. can a cracked radiator or anything with the cooling system throw a code?

The cracking on the top of the radiator is pretty obvious, at least from what I've seen (and from experience with mine). I'd check the little drain 'bolt' on the bottom of the radiator and the drain bolt on the block for any leaking (both of mine have, and I'd lose a little bit of coolant over time).
