Default b16a3 swap into 97 ek question.. SEARCHED!

theres a b16a3 swap (motor, tranny, axles, etc.) for sale locally that I want to put in my ek. my question is will the obd1 stuff work perfectly, or will i need to convert to obd2 (ie dizzy, injectors, or just the wiring harness). i read a couple archived threads, but its a different solution in every thread.

i already know that i'll need new mounts, but will the wiring harness and stuff be fine also? THANKS!

Convert to OBD2... since your car is OBD2 from the engine harness to the ECU plugs. You can then run a OBD2a to OBD1 conversion harness after that to run an OBD1 ECU.

put a OBD1 gsr into my 99dx. I ran a Si harness so i didn't have to wire up VTAK the ecu adapter harness, (OBD2b to OBD1, and a OBD2b distributor pretty sure that's all you need. And just use a OBD1 ecu the goes with the B16a3

If it where me I would get a 96-98 ex harness, obd2 dizzy, and injectors. Use an obd2a jumper harness to convert it to obd1 and run the delsol ecu. everything should work fine.

Correct me if im rong

dont use a SI harness,99-00 haness are different, get a 96-98 civic harness find a OBD2 dizzy, injectors or cut the clip of the harness and add OBD1 clips and an OBD2 alternator or cut the clip and add an OBD1 clip then get a OBD2a to OBD1 jumper harness and run the OBD1 ECU....as far as mount all u need is a 00 SI reat T-bracket and driver side motor mount BRACKET(3 bolts holes to block) ...hope this helps
