Engine Wiring Harness Compatability in an EK...
Well it seems as if I've fubar'd my engine harness.
Question - I have a '96 EK hatchback with an OBD1 SOHC vtec swap currently using an OBD2A->OBD1 conversion harness from jdmshit.com. In the process of repinning my distributor I broke the plug, and wiring it according to the helms, I can get it to turn over, but not spark.
Anyway , can I run an OBD1 engine harness in my EK with the obd1 sohc swap without any issues?
Or if I get another OBD2 harness can I just put an obd2 distributor in the motor if everything else is already converted to OBD1 (IACV, injectors, etc...)?

you dont need to repin anything if you are running obd2=1 conversion harness just the obd1 ecu. You cannot run obd1 harness because the obd1 is a 2 piece harness that plugs in the shock tower. The obd2 harness is a 1 piece design
