I have a ricey 5" tach. that I want to use for when I go to the strip and for auto cross but I don't want it there all the time and I dont want to ruin my dash from it. Its going in a CRX. I'm going to put a plug on it so I can just plug it in when I want it and unplug it when I don't but I don't know how to mount it. Any one have any ideas?

 

What if got another cluster cover and mounted it to that. Then all you have to do is take out four screws to take the cluster cover off and make a plug for the tach and it won't be permanently installed.
