Default Re: tach mounting question (LiLn81224)

I had an aftermarket tach on my old civic ('85). It was a 3-3.5 inch pod type that bolts onto your dash/cluster or whatever. I didnt want to drill holes in my dash so I used 3 suction-cups to hang it from the windscreen (between the pillar and gauge cluster hump). It actually looked quite mean and surprisingly didnt fall off ... even when pushing hard through corners!!
I've also seen smaller tachs mounted on the top of the steering column.
Good-luck

Mike
