need help fan running while car off

Default need help fan running while car off

ok here's the problem yesterday my neighbor told me that the car was making a sound almost all day. but i was too busy to check and when i do at night the fan was running with the car off. so went out and when i get back the battery is complete dead. what can be the reason the fan was running like that

Uhhh...probably a wiring issue somewhere, i would check the fan relay first.

yea on/off switch for your fan would seem like a good solution. that way when your driving your fan will be on all the time so things stay cooler. OR you can run an on/off switch for your battery.

Did you even read the post? His fan is staying on when the car is OFF.

yea so when his car is OFF, he can turn his switch to the OFF position for his fan. am i missing something?

I was just saying he might have a short in his fan switch, previous owner ghetto rigged a switch and it shortet etc.

ok when i disconnect the green plug next to the fan and radiator the fan turns off and if i just lightly put the plugs together it turns back on so what could it be the cooling fan switch?

the fan switch is on the thermostat , its a two wire plug, yellow/green or some ****.

this damn car is pissing me off so what is i have to replace the cooling fan switch or the temperature switch so that i could plug that green switch back without the fan turning on
