You will need a "kit" (really just capsules and ballasts) that includes D2S HID capsules, and then everything should more or less be plug-and-play once you get the projectors installed.

if you are going to get tsx projectors you might want to get BMW shrouds then if you were to get HID you have to get D2S HID...

"D2S" is a type of HID capsule, just like "H4" is a type of halogen bulb.

Wrong!
If you wanna lose your hi beams then a tsx retrofit is your choice. But for that u'd need D2S (philips 85122) bulbs, D2S Ballast, shrouds, complete H4 harness or a bixenon harness if you wanna go with bixenon projectors which are the maxima e55's, mercedez or bmw e46's, acura tl, infinity G35(06+), FX or Murano bixenon projectors, etc...

Are you replying to me? Not a single thing that I wrote in this thread is incorrect.

If you're referring to wiring, he didn't ask about it (at least that's not how I interpreted his question). He seemed to be asking about what would be needed to get the setup physically installed in his headlight housings.

However, I'd strongly recommend using a relay setup rather than an adapter harness. If you're capable of retrofitting HID projectors into your halogen housings, you should certainly capable of connecting the wiring.

Everything you said is right, just that he added a couple things that you would "need" to complete a retrofit (upgraded harness, shrouds, etc)
