It's a relatively cheap part and easy to install. Considering your mileage I'd start there. When was the last time you cleaned the filter on that cold air intake?

I was getting the same amount of mileage as you were. Recently did a tune up since I had to replace fuel pump because it crapped out on me.
Other then the Fuel pump this is what I replaced.
fuel filter
spark plugs
ignition wires (not necessary but they crapped out on me as well)
cap & rotor (also adjusted my timing and it was set to +3degrees. changed it to +1degree)
air filter
After all this, I can now do about 440km and I drive through rush hour traffic 5 days a week. This past easter weekend I was driving all over southern ontario to visit family and I got about 520km on the tank

No no.
I'm just saying that when I replaced my fuel pump I went ahead and did a full tune up and those were the things that I did and they helped my fuel mileage. My fuel pump actually just died on me before I did the full tune up.
I suggest start with the spark plugs, cap & rotor, air filter, & fuel filter. Check your timing too because it can help. Bad o2 sensors can cause bad fuel mileage but I'd replace those last because OEM o2 sensors dig holes in pockets and I'm not a fan of aftermarket replacement ones.

alot of other things could affect it, if you have any modifications to the outside of the car like spoiler, your suspension could degrade your MPG, and your o2 could be doing this aswell.

Re: (YoungKadafi)
Driving style is one of the biggest influences on MPG.. I used to get 17-20 driving like an *******. Now I drive like a normal person and get 30-34+. Not sure if my fuel filter has ever been replaced as well.
