why are you going to use a stock piston on a aftermarket rod?

why would you run stock pistons on a forged rod?what is your ultimate goal?stock gsr pistons arent the best to handle boost and the compression isnt the best for an na application...gotta have a goal in mind otherwise your just wasting money

It should be safe to assume you're going with boost, as this is FI.

ALL Honda OEM cast pistons will take a **** (ringlands) before stock LS rods, let alone GSR rods. So I will present this question again:

just do stock rods and stock pistons if its a budget build...On 10 pounds the rods won't let loose.

dont get stuck on a psi number. set a hp goal. 300whp on stock internals is perfectly doable with a good tune.
