Trying to install a Skunk 2 intake manifold on a 2000 Ls and ran into a little problem...
OEM manifold

Skunk 2 Manifold

Would it be safe to put a vacuum cap on the extra skunk 2 bung, or would i be better off to cut off the extra bung and braze it up..?
Thanks

Capping it up I think would be fine, it would also be safer then brazing it up, and not having it anymore.
Is there reason to Change the intake manifold though?

Mine is plugged. That is for older integra's that have a need for the water line to run to the throttle body. That is a water line, not vacuum, so make sure to plug the small barb well.
I plugged mine with a rubber hose with a bolt clamped tight, I wouldn't do a permanant fix to the manifold because you may sell it to someone else someday possibly.

i will post some pics of my install of the same manifold on my 2000 LS for you to use as refrence. Hope i can help you out and save you some time and money.
here are some pics to help you out. the extra opening you have on the new manifold will not be used so cap it with a thick rubber vacuum cap.

this is how it should look. i got to clean it up a little. the line on the right goes to the break booster. the one on the left goes to the purge on the EVAP can. and the bottom goes to the manifold. also you throtle cable will be relocated to the right unless you can cut some of the bracket off and drill new holes in it.

hope this helped.

the one your pointing at in the second pic you will need to cap it off with a thick rubber vacuum cap and someting to hold it down with like a squeeze clamp. thats all.
