BLOX INTAKE MANIFOLD IS GARBAGE
well after today being the third day i'm working on my blox intake manifold, dealing with leaking from around the manifold and other miscellaneous problems, THIS is what i now have on my hands..
THE COOLANT PORT BLEW STRAIGHT OUT OF THE INTAKE MANIFOLD
SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW AFTER DRIVING THE CAR ONCE, THE COOLANT TAP JUST BLOWS OUT.
i'm so pissed off. did anyone else ever have a problem with one of these? this is ridiculous.

Re: (skunk2 VTECH)
why do you have to try to start a flame thread? there was nothing i could do to prevent the coolant tap from literally ripping out of the intake manifold. i was pretty pissed off before about it, but i'm just gonna JB Weld it back in and it should be fine. i emailed blox for the hell of it anyway with pictures just to let them know.
i'm sure you're quite the master of installing "VTECH" on all your Need For Speed cars, but if you have nothing useful to say then just shut up.

just run a 1/2" or 3/4" barbed fitting in there.
you might need to tap it with a NPT tap to get it to seal though.......its gonna take some work.....but it will work

Re: (Nataku)
yeaa i know. but i figure the hell with it, this was the second time i took it off and put it on because it was leaking, and now it's on secure. i'm too lazy to take it off, send it back, wait for another, and put it on again. plus i can't be without a car for that long.

Re: (lude27)
sometimes you just get a bad product. it sucks but it happens. You are better off just sending it back and getting a new one. Either sell it if you dont want it or just put it back on.
