D16Y3 Vtec????
My friend has a 99 civic with a D16Y3 in it. The valve cover does not say VTEC on it, but I was driving it and I swear it has a cross over at about 6000rpms. I just wondering. I know they make SOHC Vtec, and they say Vtec on the valve cover.
if i remember right, all the 96-00 d series valve covers are the same, and none say vtec on them regardless of if they have vtec or not. so it's possible, but i've never heard of the y3.
d16y3? wtf? do you mean "d16y8"? could be some grease covering up the side of the number 8, if its a y8, then YES it has VTEC
