Make & model of car would help...

Have you verified with a meter that you're getting good constant power & switched power?

You could also use a test light.

And how did you verify fuses were actually good without a meter or test light? Did they just "look" good?

Connect the yellow and red wires to the pos battery terminal, and connect the black to neg terminal. Headunit should turn on. If it does, then you have a power/wiring problem.

When it does turn on, it tells you that your headunit works. Then you need to start looking at your wiring/fuses to make sure you're getting power at the radio harness.

that would take SOO much time. but like i asked before. could i just hardwire it to the battery itself? or would it still be draining powre from the batter if i turned the stereo off.

Then if it's such a bother for you, go away and stop wasting our time if you're going to balk at our advice.

However, if you've verified that the constant wire is the problem, then yes, you can run a wire from the battery.

im not saying that i wouldn't do it just saying it would take a while, but id do it lol.

so if i ran the yellow and red wire to the positive terminal id just fine? and just make a ground somewhere? that wouldn't cause my battery to die right?

If you run the yellow and red wire to the battery, then the radio will remain on all the time and you will have to remember to turn it off when you shut the car off.

That's why we're trying to tell you to diagnose the problem properly so it will work as intended.

However, you still have not answered the basic question of whether or not you've tested the constant & switched power leads going to the radio with a meter or test light...
