trying to get my axles in but they just don't wana seem to go all the way in, either side is the samething. any trick or am i missing something?

 

They take a little bit of a quick pounding to go in.

insert the slines into the tranny.... and give it a quick punch to seat it in.


On the knuckle side of it, insert the slines , and then holding the rotor parallell to the car, give it a quick hammer forward, should go right in.

hum i tried pusing it in as hard as i could haha. where can you hammer it? i dont wana rip the boot.

 

You hammer at the end of the spline.

 

ohh ok. so i just need to slide it in through the tranny/other side then put it through the hub then hammer?

You don't use hammer...
you insert the splines then you hold the shaft and shove it into tranny with a quick jerk

then you insert the splines into the hub, now hold the rotor and shove the hub further onto the splines

sometimes you may have to try a few times.
