high milage.. any suggestions?

Default high milage.. any suggestions?

I got a 93' LS with 194*** miles, i just want to do something so that the engine is reliable enough to boost it, i dont want to boost it now and ******* blow a od through the block, wht do you got to say?

if you want to make it reliable for boost, you're going to have to rebuild it for boost! New pistons/rings, rods, bearings, seals, gaskets, belts, etc.

or you can go all motor..jk..you will definatley have to do all of the above.

all motor is def. a possibility.. but all motor i would still want to rebuild it to a point.

rebuild regardless so your initial motor platform is tolerable for any future modifications

rebuilding it... how much time, money.. just how much of everything will that take?i really cant do anything right now.. my father is crazy about doing it right now.. i just bought the car so he is hesitant about it, crazy ppl haha

Time - a few weeks
Money - depends on parts and what you build it for ($500-3000)

i do things slowly and was planning for machine work and so forth. If you had everything ready and had all the parts spec'd and ready to go, you could build it in an afternoon.....generally it takes a week or two though

ya.. i dont really plan on do much machine work, proably everything right in my friends garage... replacing thing and polishing the head and all that good stuff

well now i have another question.. with the amount of miles it has,.. you think it will be fine till the summer comes around.. i mean i dont plan on doing anything till then.. possible even just buy another b18a1 with less miles and throw that in there when the time comes around and ******* around with that one..?
