Are you running 93 octane ( I'm sure you are)

And, don't quote me on this, but I do belive a 75 DRY shot isn't the greatest. I woudl go no more than a 50 shot, dry.

Also, I belive it's suggested to run 2 steps colder plugs.

Either way, it'll only detonate so many times before your engine detonates.. I suggest backing off 75 and go to 50.

one step colder spark plugs is ussually good enough for n2o setups under 100shot especially wet ones. I think your problem might lay in your fuel pump. Consider running a high output fuelpump and even a FPR. Also check to see if your spark plugs are caked white...if they are you are running lean. Good luck and keep on squeezn

the plugs were only in the car for an hour and after i sprayed it a few runs i took them directly out and they had a small white layer on the ground electrode and a speckled black residue on the white part of the insulator. ngk tech told me what plugs to get and he said they were a heat range colder. and now that i got my timing retarded so much it is sluggish in low rpms. what do you guys recommend for increase of fuel so i can get my timing more advanced when im not running nitrous and still have a safe n2o setup

I don't know the whole set up you have. The plugs you're using are not even close to the problem you have. But these are a few things that should be done.

First, you should invest in a walbro 255 fuel pump. They're cheap, I think about $120 bucks...Good insurance.

Second, Buy a Wide Band/ or use a dyno. Tune with it using your Nitrous pills...You should get it to about 12.5 on the juice. Dont run it to rich you could wash the cylinders and do more damage.

Third, To make the car more streetable. You could put in a MSD 6A or better, an MSD retard box,and window switch. Then you can advance your timing back to normal for all motor driving, and use the retard switch for when you spray.

I would run your plug gap at about .020. you should be able to run safe taking out 3deg. timing. Also change your plugs after you pepper a set, You can't see new fuel/timing adjustments on bad ones. If it still doesn't like it you may need to think about better gas, check and make sure you don't have a clogged fuel pill.
