50 Shot of nitrous????
I have a b18b1 swapped into my 95 civic and i hooked up a Nitrous Express system. I am running 35 shot but want to up it to 50 shot, will this be to much for the stock internals?

Do NOT use platinum or Zex plugs. Way too many problems reported and witnessed. Like melted electrodes, insulators, etc.

you should be more than safe..
with that engine, i would venture to say 70 would be pretty safe without retarding timing, as long as u are using at least 93 octane gas or higher..
might wanna check out colder plugs tho, and ignition setup if you get really into the n02

I was running a 50 shot with nx and no problems at all. Stock timing with 2 step colder plugs and went tru a few bottles and my b18a took it perfectly. Even nx says that you don't need anything to change with their stage 1 efi (35-50-75 shot) But i'd bump the timing back 2 or 4 degrees with the 75 shot.

A 50 shot is like buying a lap dance instead of a bj, a tease. I had a 70 shot in a sohc and never had a problem. A 50 shot of laughing gas would make me do just that, laugh at you. Step up to at least 70, dont be a *****. Your engine can hold 100 so what is 70 gonna hurt?
I was running ZEX 75 shot on my b16a1 CRX all summer last year, went through about 8 bottles. Not 1 problem, actually i melted an electrode once. I was running 4 degrees retarded and 1 stage colder plugs. The only reason i melted it was because i was NECK AND NECK with a 4wd turbo&nitrous DSM, we both went to top speed in 5th on the juice. he beat me by about 2 feet.

From what I understand, NOT all the time, rule of thumb is take your engine's HP, divide it by two (or half, whichever suits you
) and you should be able to do that number with stock internals.
