Default CTR Waterpump

So about time for TB/Water pump in my CTR... and I am assuming that CTR/ITR TB and water pump are the same? Correct me if I am wrong on this.

to be more specific, all b series vtec pumps are the same. what you have to worry about is getting the right belt. since you have a b16b you'll need a b18c belt.

to be more specific (or ****), a B-series VTEC H2O pump has 22 teeth while a non VTEC has 25. VTEC motors rev up higher....they would foam up the coolant at 8k rpm if they were not 22t.

Correct smaller dia makes the pump run faster.

Which makes me think...so we get like an .01 hp from having a bigger waterpump gear. ha

because b16b and b18 deck heights are the same. b16/b17 have shorter deck heights.

like i said earlier, all b series vtec pumps are the same and all non vtec b series pumps are the same. the vtec pumps spin slower at higher rpms to better control the water/coolant.
