aite, here's the situation. my friend has a b18 with a b16 head on his eg. just bought this damn thing too....first his car was leaking a lot of motor oil (i mean a A LOT!), then his headers were lose....he got all that problem fixed but now there's this weird clicking and clanking noise behind his motor area....any ideas what wrong with his ride?????

 

Try and be a little more descript.

this could be anything from rattling shifter, tranny issues, to bad motor mounts.

 

it's more from the bottom right to middle area of the motor...it's like something is lose or it's ripping

 

or since its an LS/vtec you could have done some damage....lots of oil leaking

 

take motor out rebuild if its already doing that

 

but do you know whats wrong with it though.......

this is a wild guess but, i was goin to buy an ls with with a v-tec head and it was making noise aswell, i took it to Jay from One and he told me that the valve train needed to be changed. he said it wasnt major but i should change it soon because the noise is very annoying... you might want to take about the head and check out the valve train. good possiblity it's that... but once again i am not too sure.. just give it shot..

Yea thats always the best option... istead of tinkering with the motor, just take it all apart and but it back together..

 

good looking out man, took it to a shop.....IT WAS THE VALVE TRAIN!!! hahaha....thanks a lot dude....

 

check to see if the rear mount is loose

yea, some **** was loose....it was fixed quickly with no problem....thanks for all the help
