Default East Coast block sleeving?

Does anyone on the east coast sleeve honda blocks? Excuse my ignorance, but it seems everyone that does it, is west coast.

id use GE

we have been running the same block for over 2yrs, over 800 hp to the tires. never had any coolant/headgasket problems. we also use GE blocks in previous street cars with no problems

GE gets my vote.

woah woah woah... Just to clear the air here guys, WE didnt screw kyle.... something else came up, and he couldnt make the trip up here. Dont want anyone thinkin im crooked here

9 miles huh? I officially hate you. Its only like 1900 round trip for me ...but ill be doing it this summer. Im sick of screwing around with this stock stuff. I sold my 240, so now ive got a little money to sleeve a block with, and finally put these forged internals into something, instead of on a bookshelf. Im just trying to figure out which company to go with.... you got any reccomendations?

No no no you deffinatly didnt screw me...i just ment i got screwed in general "by some unnamed sources".
I was thinking of getting daring and trying on stock sleeves just to see how long they last. But I will probably end up going with Benson or GE....unless miller here gets back at me with a pm
Yo hit me up on AIM JanKyl29 I gotta talk to you...and see if you have some parts i need

Other places that sleeve blocks do not do the rest of the work required after a block is sleeved. Jim align bores the main's after sleeving the block, mainy other places do not , and if they do they dont do it right, he will also take time to align the oil pump after line bore, others do not do this also. His attention to detail awesome.

if a block is line bored right you do not have to line up the oil pump only when someone line bores them wrong or takes to much off the block will you need to check the oil pump and 99% of the blocks we sleeve and other shops sleeve do not need a line bore done after sleeving

unless my block absolutely needed it, I don't think I would want them to align hone the mains....heard a lot of bad stories.

well first you never line hone them you line bore them and as long as the line bore is done right it will not affect your oil pump
