fixing a sunken sleeve
a buddy of mine has a JG sleeved block and #4 sunk about .004''. i might be getting the block off him and was wondering if i could just deck the block .004'' and be okay. it is not o-ringed and is 81mm bore. any help?

i wouldnt do it. it may just continue to sink or shift. then youll lose the whole motor possibly. another JG nightmare I guess!!!

You could deck the block .005" and bore it .5mm and probably be ok but it is kind of a crap shoot as to the life of the block
