Help with my 00 si coupe.. RPM/engine problem

for some reason, my car RPM is goes below 1000 on idle. when i gas then let it idle, it seems like the engine is about to die, then it slowly pick up power again. Anyone got any answer to this? THanks!!!!

try checking all your vac lines first, make sure they are all connected

inspect and if neccessary remove any engine grime from the iacv

mine goest to 500 rpm some times, i think its the way the motor is * shurg

my si used to sit around 700 as well...the gsx i used to have the same problem, when u give it gas and then let go, it went way down and sputtered and them shot back up, i believe the problem was something with the fuel pump or fuel filter, also check your vac lines-Shift
