Timing Question Pic Request
I was wondering if someone who has done a mini-me can show me a pic of the camshaft pulley at TDC. I have the di6y8 head on a d15b7 block. the cam pulley has 5 spokes. One says up and another one says 1.6. Not sure which one is the TDC sprocket.
Here's another way to get TDC, pull the #1 sparkplug out(closest to cam gear) and put a long screwdriver in the sparkplug hole, and then turn the crank untill the screwdriver is at its highest point and thats TDC
Well that really wast my question. I asked where is top dead center (cylinder #1) on the Camshaft not the crankshaft. I know how to get top dead center on the crankshaft. And just because you put the long screwdriver in the sparkplug hole does not mean that it is at the correct TDC for cylinder #1.
