D16Z6 stock block, 15G turbo, 1BAR - tuned by me :)
yep, since today, I'm running 1BAR on my intercooled GReddy 15G kit
- AFs are in the 11s
- total timing is 12 degreed
- the boost is not stable, and falls up top to 13ish psi
- IATs are about 100F when driving in 4th gear
- 93 oct. pump gas
- stock map sensor
setup is:
D16Z6 stock block, but ARPs
GReddy 15G kit,
6" FMIC
Type-RS BOV
Fluidyne
ACT HDSS
Apexi WS2, gutted cat - quiet baby
PLX M250+gauge
GReddy Type-S EBC
RC440cc, stock fuel system
Hondata s300, tuned by me

Isn't the s300 compatable with the 2.5bar motorola/freescale map? Its all of $20 shipped to your door, and reads to 22psi.
But
for cranking the boost rather than whining about the turbo being too small. Stock motors don't need shredder/chipper-sized compressor wheels

yeah, I gotta get me a motorola 2.5 bar from somewhere ...
but that's not a big problem, the unstable boost is what's more important. I can't convert to external WG at the moment, so I'll see if I can find another way of stabilizing my boost.

it's not only the fuel ... I had to recalculate the timing again, cause the map sensor reads up to 11.2psi or so
