Default bad dizzy?

my car isnt getting spark and ive tested everything i can think of but the dizzy. how can i test it to see if thats the problem?

the weird thing is that the car will start and run for about 30 seconds if the cars been sitting for a couple weeks. ive changed the ignition coil, main relay, checked the plugs and wires. i havent checked for any shorts in the wiring but since it starts sometimes i assumed there probably isnt a short anywhere.

Could be the ignitor inside the distributor...

Sometimes I get bad dizzy when I stand up too quick.

Using the word "distributor" makes the search function a lot easier for people with similar problems.

Its not a "dizzy."

It's a long list of steps to test...do you have a manual?

If you have a manual you can test the ignition output signal. Do you have any CELs?
