DA Problem
well, the car has a very hard time starting up, i took it to a shop and they replaced only the distributor cap, the dude test it out, and it was fine. when i drove it, the car suddenly shuts off, i got it back on after a few seconds, and took it to ANOTHER shop, this time they replaced the spark plug wires, and the spark plugs, the car felt fine after 2 hours, then after that it SHUTS off AGAIN. someone told me to replace the distributor itself, i dont know what is going on with it, i recharged the battery, replaced the spark plugs/wires, and the distributor cap. what do you think is wrong with it?

i was quick to say distributor but i have a few questions...
does the car turn off suddenly while u are driving it? does it crank right back up when it does turn off?
anyways first and foremost check your grounds. this will cost you nothing and its a good place to start.
it might be a main relay which u can easily find at ur local junkyard.
lastly, it might be the distributor.

once agan, everyone is real quick to say the main relay
start by having your igntion moduule tested at your local autozone, it's free as well.....just gotta pull it out of the distributor
